ABOUT ME
I’m Moira — a photographer drawn to real moments and clean composition.

I grew up in rural Vermont and have spent the last thirteen years in New York, which probably explains my pull toward contrast — quiet details in loud places, stillness in motion, the human side of the moment.

I got my start the same way a lot of us did: flip phone selfies in 2007, a point-and-shoot, and an early obsession with framing the world just right. Since then, I’ve gone from documenting my own life to capturing people, stories, and places with a focus on authenticity and intention.
My work sits somewhere between documentary and editorial — natural but deliberate. Whether it’s a portrait, a live event, or something in motion, I aim to create images that feel grounded, alive, and unforced.

Outside of photography, I stay inspired by travel, writing fiction, and the sports I love to photograph.
